Some songs are quick to write – the melody and lyrics are there in a flash. This song was different. I had the melody and some of the lyrics – but it took 13 years to complete. The song speaks of God walking beside us and being the love that it can take years to discover. When we do, we realise we will only be free if we choose the dreams God has for us. God’s dreams for us are both profound and simple – to find him and know him in whatever circumstances we find ourselves.
